開始看美劇"House of Cards"。故事從國會出發，由政治、媒體和利益團體的交織，闡述金錢、權力和欲望間的重重糾葛，情節和我每天見識到的華盛頓，驚人的相似。照片是113屆國會宣誓就職當天，議員齊聚國會山莊的盛大場面，也是這部美劇的場景所在。

我以前看的多是錢，總覺得會賺大錢才是真功夫，儘管他們不吝嗇於展現庸俗。來到華盛頓看的是權，才發現要玩政治，還必須懂得如何幫庸俗披上一件高尚的糖衣，更是不簡單。

主角Kevin Spacey在劇裡極其玩弄權力心機，把眾議院黨鞭這個角色演得夠賤，讓人不得不讚嘆，死後不下地獄的，實在不配當一個政客。在第二集中他這樣讚賞著權力如何勝過金錢，一個我似乎漸漸懂得的道理。
